how do i change ships in zones like mgctf? i tried to put ships.bm2 in the zone file but it didnt work

that would be the zone's file right? but i put the original shipsets in the mgctf file and it wont change

use the lvztoolkit and in the ini file for the tool kit use
File=ships.bmp or whatever the ship set is your wanting to use.. then complie the ini with the buildlvz.exe and the output file blah.lvz is the one you put in the server folder then in the arena settings for whatever arena you want it in under lvzfile "i think" put the name of the .lvz file in there and when you leave and come back it should download that new shipset and use them. There is a readme doc in the lvztoolkit that will tell you how to make the lvz files for the zone.

you don't have to do that if you just want the graphics to show up for yourself...
if you want it to show up in mg, put it in continuum/zones/SSCC Metal Gear CTF/ships.png (or ships.bmp or .bm2 or .ztaqyu4)

But im talkin serious walkthrough im not smart at this stuff at all
ok i wanna make a new ship to replace spider(just appearence)
how would i do that? and how wud i save it as Bm2?
and finally
i have no idea how to open the Lvztoolkit thing i got ive not 1 clue what to do with it or how to get it open
can anybody help me?

save it as a ship3.PNG and put it in your continuum/graphics/ folder
