General Questions - Decoy problem

Post subject: Decoy problem
I'm having (what I think) is a settings related problem with decoys in my zone. Whenever I release a decoy, I become unable to shoot or use most items for about a minute. This effect carries over even if I change ships. The only item I've found that still works is portal. If I use the portal, I become able to shoot again. The only ship I have that uses decoys is the wb.

Below are all decoy related settings I have.

[Misc]
DecoyAliveTime = 9000

[Warbird]

DecoyMax = 5
InitialDecoy = 0

Also, a second question. What setting do I use to make it so that when a ship specs or changes freq, all its items such as mines and bricks disappear? This is currently not the case.

When a ship specs or changes frequencies i thought it automatically cleared that. It should be like a ship-reset and respawn then into their warp point. Using a safe zone will make the mines go away. Once you hit safe they disappear. A bot could help you out. TWcore is cool, but MERVBot would probably be easier for you to use. Look around for plugins, i'm sure someone may still be nice enough to make one for you. I'm getting into the C and C++ world a little. I can't diss C/C++ unless i try it

Also check bullet and bomb firedelays. Sometimes i am unable to shoot after repping.

All right, problems solved.

I had the bomb fire delay for the wb jacked up to 5000 since it doesn't have bombs anyways. I didn't know decoys were considered bombs.

The second issue turned out to be a non-issue. Now I feel stupid for never knowing that bricks remain on screen no matter the status of the person who placed them. That's what I get for playing exclusively in TW for the past four years.

FYI: Bomb fire delay is imposed after use of certain special items (rep, thor, etc).
