LVZ/LVL Questions - Loading map into Private Subarena

Post subject: Loading map into Private Subarena

How do you load a map into the game in a private subarena?
I am the owner of arena, but when i type

?Setlevel=#formap.lvl (#formap)- Name of map as SSME doc, saved in continuum folder.

Nothing happens.. I know i have the powers because esc+c works fine.. tell me what i am doing wrong plz? or at least something else that i should try..

Try: *putfile #formap.lvl

But type your sysop password beforehand.

He's not a sysop, newb.

Try ?putfile instead of *putfile. I've never tried it myself, but it should word.

He said he was owner of arena, not sysop.

Maybe you didn't give the arena time to refresh its settings once you became owner? Also, make sure the mapname is the name of the arena you own (so the #formap.lvl is the map for the arena #formap).

Anyway, go into your arena that you own or whatever, and try *putfile formap.lvl

You're all not helping. Putfile only works for sysops. He's never even implied he has sysop power.

Guest: Try ?setlevel without the = in the middle. If that doesn't help, then try renaming the map to not have a #.

But he wants a private arena.
Btw, I don't he particularly cares anymore. Hasn't come on and replied so...

He's the owner of a private arena, not a sysop in the whole zone.

This happned to me before as well, I bet you made your map using FACTS (bmp), try this:

Open it up in SSME.
Mark it with a tile.
Save it.
Then re upload and it should work.
