sorry to open up the topic again after leaving it for so long, but i tried changing the initialguns to 2 and 3 and my ships just can't fire, period.

what's up with that?!

another little question, i'm planning on running my server from my webhost, which i know is possible, but, i don't know the i.p so how can i set up server.ini with the correct i.p, can i just use a website address instead...?

Make sure the ship has more energy than the bullets cost to fire.

I think the only time the server.ini needs its own IP is for the proxy checking, which you can leave blank.

ummm, ok leaving the ip blank works, but how would i connect to it from subspace or continuum, just use the url as the host address...?

.... and where would you need to enter some(which?) url or host address?

well, me and my friends like using subspace 1.35, and to gain access to a server i have click "find server" and it comes up with that sscentral.vie.com directory thingy.

at any rate can i just punch in the url for my server and it'll find it?

i'm new to this btw, did you notice...?!

edit ::: got yet another question that i can't figure out, is there anyway to specifically start a ship with multifire, i found the doublebarrel option but that doesn't do multifire... what does..!?

I think he ment to have it spawn with it. No, there isn't. Altho you can use the initaialBounty setting to specify how many prizes the ship spawns with, and tweak settings to make a high probablity of getting multi.
