I wish to run continuum v39 on my crappy apple computer, how do I do this? Where can I find the files I need to download to run this game?

As far as I know, no one has been able to get Continuum to run outside of Windows. If you can get it to work, I'm sure a lot of us would be interested to know how you do it.

That's a server, they are talking about the client.

Snrrrubspace doesn't even deserve "client" as title.

I don't know I think I need both client and server. But for apple not linux

You could probably tweak the server to run on MacOS X. But I doubt you'll get the client to ever run.

I think you could try to run Windows in a VM on MacOS X, if you'd really want to...

The game requires DirectX or something damn good in emulating directdraw and directsound.
If you don't have it, it won't run.
This is at the very least minimal semi-technical level requirement.

Continuum doesn't currently work under Wine because of the anti-cheating code in Continuum itself. The Wine developers have contacted me and a few others mentioning that they want to work with the programmers of Continuum to let it work under Wine. No word on if Priit ever replied to any forwarded emails about this.

Sorry.

Do you know how to read? In MGB's FIRST sentence it says it DOESN'T.

Like I said in my first post, no one has been able to do it. If it's possible, it will take someone who knows a lot about the inner workings of programs (which I assume you don't). I don't mean to be negative, but even if someone had done it before, I doubt it'd be something we could walk you through.

wiggidy wiggidy

I ask this becuase it dosn't work on my windows either...

I have it downloaded, buuuut... when I try and open it I get the cursur with the hour glass says the computer is doing something and to wait.

I wait and nothing happens, I wait for a hours still it has the hour glass up.

I delete all and every file that has anything to do with continuum on my computer and start over from the download.

Still nothing, not even the "continuum" with the red backround and lightning sound pops up, nothing.

(BTW addware and fire wall was disabled)

And suggestions
