I just recieved this email this morning from Psyphi, the guy 1ststike

During evacuation of hurricane rita my apartment was broken into and everything was stolen or destroyed. My old 42 inch tv has a bottle in it, I haven't even taken the tv off to the dumpster yet. I have none of my work from the past 5 years of continuum and all other projects I had going on. My backups that were in my cd cases were stolen aswell as my computer and alot of computers I was working on. I have yet to even get some of my basics back, for instance I still have no phone yet I do have a phone line. I have no microwave but I have food I could cook in it. No couch, no tv and im on a p1 166mhz that I made out of trash I had in my closet. Just a day ago I was able to get an air mattress before that I was sleeping on the floor. I've been using my oven but they did something with most of my pots and pans. I have food and have managed to get rent paid for but I have to somehow get new furniture and basicly all things for my apartment. I now actually owe people money for the computers I had at my house that have been stolen. I have no real way of making the money because I do not have all the tools I used to have. As you all know I haven't had a legit job in years I've always just bootlegged and rebuilt computers. I basicly got robbed for my entire home buisness and all my belongings. If anyone has any money they can spare please use the donate button on http://battlefieldzone.net/ I will repay all when I am back on my feet.

Just thought this is funny to see how he still dosn't have a life, and how this says he is asking for money so he can host his crap zone sa_tongue.gif

So what Agurus? You act like the hurricane was my fault. Shit happens. He's not the only one having problems down there. My whole base has already donated over $20,000 to the relief effort. I'm not giving up anymore money.

Psyphi treats everyone like shit. You won't get any sympathy from me. If anything, I think he deserves what he got. He's too lazy to get a real job. Why would I donate money to somebody that has no ambitions in life?

All of you that donated money directly to him just wasted your hard earned money on a bum.

Indeed, he could be scamming. I am personally donating $0.00 because in my experience with him he banned me from his zone under the name Psyphi for flaming Lumenesc (owner of MK) and then 2 years later under the name Z-R0 he sucks up to me.

Coincidence? I don't think so. In my persepective, he seems like the guy who makes bad decisions and then makes up an excuse or an escape later down the road.

I'm not trying to flame him here, but quite frankly, I have to agree with Chambahs.

Ya well, that would be 2nd degree murder.
http://canada.justice.gc.ca/en/news/nr/1997/over.html wrote:
Appendix F

SDR - 37

Conviction: Second Degree Murder

Length Of Sentence: Life Sentence

Present Status: On Full Parole

Background

The applicant shot the victim with a gun that had been stored in the attic of their home. The applicant was convicted of second degree murder and given a life sentence without parole eligibility for 10 years.

SDR Evidence

The applicant provided the SDR with new information that the victim had sexually assaulted her on the day of the killing. She told the SDR that she went to the attic, retrieved a gun, loaded it and shot her victim because of that assault. The SDR concluded that this information was reasonably capable of belief, that the victim had assaulted the applicant and that she feared she would be assaulted again. While the SDR concluded the degree of force used by the applicant was excessive in the circumstances, it also found that the victim's wrongful acts would provoke an ordinary person who shared the applicant's background and circumstances to lose self-control. The SDR concluded that the applicant's new information concerning the victim's behaviour on the day of the killing was credible and would have resulted in a finding of provocation by a reasonable trier of fact. Therefore, the SDR concluded that the applicant would have been convicted not of second degree murder, but of manslaughter. The SDR recommended commutation of the applicant's sentence, or the remission of the remainder of her life sentence, with aftercare for one year.

Trial Evidence

Self-defence was not raised at trial or on appeal. The applicant testified at trial that she and her victim had been drinking and she had no memory of the shooting. Relations between the victim and the applicant were marked by tension, but no violence, prior to the shooting. The applicant's new information is inconsistent with previous information provided by the applicant to the police or her counsel, and through her trial testimony. In earlier accounts, the applicant claimed that the killing was strictly accidental.

I think what Agurus nearly means is that people should own a gun for their self-defense, seeing that it is the 2nd Amendment.

Shooting someone down outside of your house or property, however, charges murder on you. But, if they're inside your house, you won't be charged since they'll recognize it at self-defense.

You're kidding, right? Charities are a great way to inject your money into a wasteful beaurocracy. If they spent all their time figuring out how to best use the money, hardly any of the money would be spent in America.

Quan, you don't see a scam when it smacks you in the face, do you?

If he really had money problems, he would go to a bank ASAP and get a loan. As well get a temporary job of cleaning up debris and wreckage.

It is obviously a scam, because if he wasn't kidding, he would get a job.

Damn rights you won't see or hear of him again, because he is going to take your money and run. Make him sound imporant? HA! Look at all the starving kids in Africa who have been abandoned by their parants and kids as young as 8 or 9 taking on a role as a parent to help their little brother or sister who is as young as even 5 or 6 years old. They sometime's don't eat for up to 2 or 3 days if it rains because the wood is wet. Their houses have over 20 holes in each house's roof. People in Africa are the people who truely deserve help.

As well Trained is right. $2,365.00 could restore 2 of those computers he owes (See: Ebay).

UDP works like the regular mail. You stick an address on a letter and hope it gets there. Sometimes your mailman likes to eat letters, other times post offices can't read your shitty handwriting and throw it away.

TCP works like UPS. You send it out, and wait for a responce saying it was delivered. If not, you try again until you get a responce (like UPS coming by the next day to see if you are home then).

Generally, if the internet was perfect, UDP would always be received. But since buffers get full and random variances can cause packets to become corrupt, you take a chance that some will be lost.
