Ignore their threads, problem solved. Why should MGB have to do anything? There's an ignore option, as you've pointed out, so use it. Trash Talk is exactly that. If you don't like pointless threads or posts, don't read the forum. Just look at the forum, scan the thread titles, and if nothing catches your fancy, then move on.

I guess I don't see what the problem is with bumping old topics. So they're kinda useless; big deal. I mean, they probably get in the way, but this forum is as busy as it once was in its' prime. Are your eyes really that lazy that you can't look around the useless topics?

How about an option to auto-ignore topics after x days? (EDIT: I should have read the whole topic. We should just put the close after x days option into effect. If not, then use my idea.

)

And besides, I think there's only two people who actually find this annoying...

I don't believe Spyed is an idiot. He just has to learn the difference between certain medium, such as chat rooms and forum posts.

Also, Dr Brain, if they are on your ignored list, how do you know they said they were sorry? Aren't you, you know, ignoring their posts? Or are you one of those persons that ignore people, yet click on the 'view post' for everyone you ignored, thus putting more effort that it would be to never have ignored them in the first place?
