Bot Questions - Silence Bot

Post subject: Silence Bot

Can someone make me a MervBot plugin that will issue the *shutup command to everyone in the arena when there is only a certain amount of players in the arena it is in and has an in-game function to set the # of players to be in arena for when it sends the *shutup command to everyone?

I need this because some bots tend to send mesages when there is nobody in the arena and it floods the server logs.

Would someone be generous enough to make this plugin to MervBot for me please?

How many players so that it activates the bot?
besides.. you can stop the bot messages

Why not add this feature built into the bot (assuming you have access or know someone who has access to the source)? Optionally, you could not log *arena messages if that is what is spamming the server logs.

Why use *arena messages for that? Just use public messages. Since I imagine itll be formated (and probably more than one line) itll stand out by itself. You dont need it to be green.

how about make another plugin that PM's !load and !unload to its own to toggle the bot on/off. Would be far better then using *shutup lol.

Both are ridiculous though. As Cyan said, the problem is with the plugin.

Then just dont make it sysop. Unless it is needed to run the bot. Some are.

But once a sysop shutup's himself, it's permanent. This will obviously not work with one spawn (and two is ridiculous). Edit the code or something, Donkano.

I said only when a specific number of people in the arena.

2 = 1 silence bot + the nuisance bot

But the bot would still never be able to come unsilenced. Just get the source for the plugin and mod it.
