Trash Talk - Anyone have a spare 1TB/Month laying around?

Just a useless post. More for history purposes, since i do that all the time. Anyways, SSCU averages about a terabyte (1,099,511,627,776 bytes for you non-tech swavy people) a month, most of it sucked up by Trench Wars, of course. So whats that every second? About 4 Mbps (4 million bits per second, how most connect speeds are labeled).

Poor me, and i'm happy to get a 300KBps download rate on the newest "files" released.

Opps, error. SSCU uses 2TB a month, not just one. Trench Wars alone was about 1TB.

That is a heluva lot of bandwidth. Just imagine how many linux distros you could download with that!

10^24 = yotta
10^21 = zetta
10^18 =exa
10^15 =peta
10^12 =tera
10^9 = giga
10^6 = mega
10^3 = kilo
10^2 = hecto
10^1 = deka
10^(-1) = deci
10^(-2) = centi
10^(-3) = milli
10^(-6) = micro
10^(-9) = nano
10^(-12) = pico
10^(-15) = femto
10^(-18) = atto
10^(-21) = zepto
10^(-24) = yocto

So anyhow you take a byte (8 bits), do * 10^12 and get terrabyte.
