Hey im running a server on my computer and lost the password for one of my players. I tried running the user.dat that cotains all the info on the users who logged onto my server but the passwords are *coded. All i can see is the amount of characters in the password. I Also tried running it with the html/plain text converting program but the password just isn't part of its interfaces. Since i am the owner of the server tehres gotta be a way i can see it . I dont want to just delete the user and remake one. I must get the password. And no ! it doesnt work with notepad.exe!!!!

It is impossible to get a users password, this is because the creators of the subbil.exe & dats where smart and know that people would try and get the password, then use it for personal use (Not saying you would..I dont know you =/)
Your best bet is to either change the password, or delete teh username.

Answer posted in my reply to the other thread (please don't post the same question multiple times).
