Why would anyone reading this help you right out of the blue?
Maybe if you specify about what you are trying to achieve so someone actually might get interested and help you?

Oh and btw.. this is a forum, not a mailinglist.

Making a bot isn't that hard. D1st0rt has a great tutorial on MERVBot and TWCore.

I had a basic one, and I think that TWCore is easier than MERV.

Yeah, Java is easier to learn than C++.

Think so too, but I dislike Java purely because the need of the JVM and its slowness with the JVM.

Java VM - lol. Technically, all applications run in their own VMs. icon_wink.gif

its a fast paced flagging/basing zone. i just need a simple bot with stats and other stuff. we also need a bot for our dueling arena, events, race and such and such. we are not exactly sure what we need, but that is why i would want to talk with the bot maker.

Depending on which core you use, there are different tutorials I recommend. Both sound like they could do what you want, MERV is popular with a lot of zones, and RedStar uses TWCore. I would recommend letting your developer choose which core to run.

Yeah but if you stack vm's you are going to experience some kind of performance hit.

Why would you be doing that though? Every core Ive ever seen is designed to run multiple bots.

Anyway, Cyph, there is still a difference between a software VM (like Java), and the OS-level VM (which I wouldn't even call VM).

Actually, the apostrophe is correct. One's means one is.
