I personally have to go with Sirius over XM. Their selection of music is more suited towards what I like. And I've tried both for 6 months each.

Plus, I own more Sirius stock than XM, and Sirius is just plain kicking XM's ass in the market.

I listen to a lot of main stream rock/pop/rap music and everything I've wanted they've had on there so far. Plus, if I go into a building (you don't get reception in any of the buildings here) I'm able to record any of the songs I like; therefore I can just switch it over to the recorded songs until I go outside again.

Works for me and it's better than an ipod in my opinion. Sure, you can store tons of music on an ipod however you can listen to all the same music and just as much of it on this. And if you have that favorite song you want to listen to over and over; record it.

I'm sure both of their ups and downs though. This is just what I preferred in the end.

Ok, so I'm not really poor. I'm just greedy.

Speaking of which, I just got a pair of these so I don't need the external antenna that comes with it when I'm out and about.

XMs 'dance' selection is better imo. Sirius has more dance channels, but XMs got the radio shows (Future Progression/lost episode, Pressure, etc).

Dunno about the other channels though...

Ha radio show? Howard Stern is going to SIRIUS in 2006. That is more than enough reason to use your XM radio as a door stop and get SIRIUS.

There is no way someone can hate him if they actually listened to his show. Maybe give it a chance and listen to it for at least a bit everyday over the next week, I guarentee that you will enjoy it.

I watched his show several times and listened to him on the radio several times and I still dislike him. I don't base my opinions on others.
