Ok, i got to think a couple days...wouldnt it be nice if we had a website where a zone could apply for hosting, and not have to go to ever host website on the web?
My idea is this - Setup a website where you can apply. Have the application go to ALL zone host currently in the list, special request (such as "I want SSR, but if i cannot get accepted, any ya'lls can) for people who want a certain network. I can help in any way if needed

hah g/l w/ that one... it'd be nice but i doubt you'll get any SSC hosts to join in...

The amount of effort in setting this up would be less than the combined effort of all the people who have to go multiple places in trying to find a host, for quite some time. That's my guess.

I think thats one of the ways to weed out the undesirables. If they can't go through the trouble of contacting hosts, they aren't ready to run a zone.

It's already extremely easy. All you have to do is sit at your computer and type up an email. Thats why if someone can't or is too lazy to figure it out, they can't handle running a zone. Also, as 1st said it would be bad for the zone hosts.
