Post subject: Possible client bug?
Procrastination tends to lead me to play around with stupid things I would otherwise leave alone... which typically leads to me breaking things...

Today, while messing around in Chaos, AgentSteel and myself noticed something interesting...

We were messing around with *prize and noticed, as soon as you have > 32676 bty, the client starts sending invalid position packets. Since both of us were sysops the server didnt do much other than stop updating other players of our position, but with regular players it sent a pretty red sysop message (packet checksum error) and specs the player.

Also, just an FYI... It seems the client uses atleast 4 bytes to store the bounty locally, but only uses the 2 low bytes when sending position packets (for obvious reason), as continuum had no problem letting me prize myself to 31904369.

Not important at all... just interesting. Does anyone know if this behavior is intentional?

Also, slighly off topic, does anyone know why the server considers bounty > 9999 to be invalid? I cant think of a good reason for it.
