First post, wee.

Banned user PriitK logged in: ban #1073, ID,IP,IDdata match (0)

(0)? What is that? Ive seen some people try to come in after a ban time after time, and sometimes it will change from 0 to 1...yet no one Ive talked to knows what it means.

Any clue?

lol..nono.

I changed the name of the guy banned to priitk =P. That shows up under all the login attempts. The original guy in that ban was banned by lvl 4.

Day before month is also used in MLA format...

I knew people would start making comments about that, I'm just used to the format.

Also, the ddmmyyyy makes more sense than the mmddyyyy.
A day is part of a month, a month is part of a year (ddmmyyyy).
A month is not part of a day, and a day is a smaller part of a year than a month (mmddyyyy)!

I use logmaker $ - no more renaming log files

Cool.. so the (.) number shows if the person just tried to get on a new name?

Hmm..I dont think you were there that day MMav, but I do remember when Inc got rid of Delic, he tried logging in a bunch of times until it banned him from trying to sign on...it would come up as different numbers while he was doing it rapidly. Hmm. Or maybe I was on heroin or something..lets see if its logged somewhere..

I used my own log rotating program.

We had a discussion about the '2' there too, as I could remember correctly, and as I can read in the log: nobody had any idea.

I won't quote the comments about Priit forgetting about it, which were very funny of course, ahem, but I think it might be a login attempt that would've failed (even if the player wasn't banned), invalid password?

(1) = Account doesn't exist
(2) = Account exists and user logged in with incorrect password

Solo Ace, I didn't see you say something like that - however you might have. I have found this out myself while being banned on another name.
So I can take credit. (although I don't care a bit about credit, I only share information I found out)

Can't be sure but to me it seems that (1) means a nick that does not exist and (0) means existing old account, that was create before the BanG. It seems to give (2) if you try to login with name created after the ban took place.
