Ship Descriptions:
TEAM 1 (1234) United Federation of Planets

Ship 1: Razor Z Class Runabout
Weaponry: 1x Type 10 Pulsephaser, 1x Mini-Photons
Shields: 33 MW
Special: ---
Prestige required: 0
The Razor Z is a new, small multipourpose runabout,
which is mostly used in dangerous anomalies, where
the turning capabilities and speed is most important.
They are extremly fast and have a high thrust. Their
small size makes them hard to hit, and allows them to
sneak through small passages. The ideal asteroid
explorer. This ship includes technology stolen from
the borg.

Ship 2: Defiant Class Frigate
Weaponry: 2x Type 10 Pulsephaser, 1x Photons
Shields: 38 MW
Special: 1x Transtatic Torpedo
Prestige required: 2500
The defiant class has been built after the first
big borg attack on federation terretory. Its ablative
hull absorbs much enemy fire before disintegrating.
Basically this ship has been built to fight back
possible new borg attacks. Now in the Haven conflict,
it also serves quite well.

Ship 3: Norway Class Light Cruiser
Weaponry: 1x Type 12 Phaser, 1x Photons/Quantums
Shields: 55 MW
Special: 2x Transtatic Torpedo
Prestige required: 10000
The Norway-class was developed at the San Francisco
ship yards to supplement and replace the Miranda and
Excelsior-class vessels in several varied but specific
roles. Primarily a workhorse class the Norway is often
found running patrols along border regions.

Ship 4: Akira Class Heavy Cruiser
Weaponry: 2x Type 12 Phaser, 1x Quantums
Shields: 72 MW
Special: 3x Transtatic Torpedo
Prestige required: 50000
The Akira is one of Starfleet's post Wolf 359 ships,
as a result it is a heavily armed warship that was meant
to battle the Borg.. Since they have been put into service
the Akiras have proven then themselves extremely capable
ships and are becoming an increasingly large part of the fleet.

TEAM 2 (5678) Rebel Alliance
Ship 5: X-Wing Class Fighter
Weaponry: 2x Turbolasers
Shields: 30 MW
Special: 1x Roundfire Burst
Prestige required: 0
The X-Wing has become a symbol of the Rebels. Pressed into
service time and again, the typical Rebel X-wing shows the
scars from previous engagements, though the fact that it still
performs as an advanced vessel of space superiority is indication
of the ruggedness of the craft.

Ship 6: X-Wing Class Fighter
Weaponry: 2x Turbolasers, 1x Mini-Singularitys
Shields: 35 MW
Special: 1x Roundfire Burst
Prestige required: 2500
The Y-wing's primary weapon is a fastfire singularity torpedo,
which is often used as "snipeing" bomb in battles. The secondary
weapons are 2 turbolaser cannons, mounted on each of the wings.

Ship 7: Falcon Class
Weaponry: 2x Turbolasers, 1x Singularity Thrower
Shields: 50 MW
Special: 2x Roundfire Burst
Prestige required: 10000
After the Millenium Falcon did so well in the two death star
battles, the rebels decided to build more of this workhorse
ships, which combined defensive and agressive mechanims
quite well.

Ship 8: Corvette Class
Weaponry: 1x Fast-Turbolasers, 1x Singularitys
Shields: 65 MW
Special: 3x Roundfire Burst
Prestige required: 50000
The Rebels operated what few cruisers they had non-stop,
often modifying them to fit mission profiles beyond their original
specifications. The corvettes mostly were bought just as hulls,
and refitted for the individual needs of their captains.
