Buy me Internet (so I can bypass my dad and his router) and I give you hosting too on a 2MB line with way better machine.

You can host it yourself and wipe out all the dir servers in the Server.ini so you can dev without interuptions.

Computers are tools, not status symbols.

That's more than enough for hosting teeny dev zones. 1.2 GHz is way fast, at least compared to the 25 MHz 486 on which I subsisted for eight years. I'm still amazed at gigahertz speeds. And then they got up to TWO gigahertz! Whoa! His 1.2 GHz "suck ass box" blows my 4 MHz Reverse Polish LISP calculator out the water.

But then again, feel free to ignore me, for my optical mouse amazes me every day, as do blinking LEDs, and I still think digital watches are a neat idea.

I've got a server at my house, but I'd never host a zone on it because my connection maxes out at 40kB/s and I don't want to lag on starcraft

I'm connected to a hub that's connected to a router that's connected to an ADSL modem that's connected to the ISP.
And aside my computer, I have no control of my own.
And I ain't going to pay for Internet if I can get it for free, even though I can't host jack cuz of it (lets face it, what am I gonna host anyway? all you non-Israelis will get mad ass pings on my server).

What the hell are you talking about? You mean, seeing the thread "bumped" on the forum index by him? Or when on the reply page, the iframe doesn't show his post or the "ignored user", but in the thread, it does?
