why is it the bigger the ship image, the smaller it gets on display Dicon_confused.gif

like for example i have this 150x 150 pixel size ship, but its displayed very tiny...even tinier than the normal size ships =\

editted: damnit!!
and i made a big ass button for that ship too....
and its being displayed as a small ass tiny little shit that u can easily squish with 1 foot

ship images are actually 40 images... do you have a 10x4 tiled image with all the roatations? Use Ez Image Rotator if not.

yes i know that, im talking about the option > menu zone-specific ships in the client skin interface

turn that on and select gundam wing zone for example and ull see

but the problem is
non standard ship sizes that are bigger than the standard ship sizes appears really tiny, even tinier than standard ship sizes

editted: this is really pissing me off, i want it to display it in all its actual pixel glory D:<

damn @!$#%@!^$%$#^#^ing tiny shit!!

editted again: goddamn STUPID SHIT DAMNIT!!!!

tough beans sa_tongue.gif

it'd be a pain to make the UI/skins work with any size you wanted

and i had a big size custom ship button for it too D:<!!!
and to add insult to injury the big ship is resized as a tiny piece of crap that you can barely see D:!!!!!

@!#!$#@%!^!&@#!%$^$#^#$

it leaves me with 2 alternatives...
1) add in a "fake" zoom in function when ship is selected to show actual size
2) resize it to standard ship size so it at least look standard instead of fvcking smaller than a TW weasel

One of your other ships is probably larger. I think I shrink them proportiinally.

yea it looks like a piece of shit when i resized it to 36x36

guess ill go with Plan A

should look fine, unless you shrank after saving with indexed colors or something

its just that there is a lot of background within each frame, and reducing it to 36x36 pixels made it look just as ugly or the same as not shrinking it

what you want to do is select only what isn't background (black), then crop, then resize width or height (whichever is larger) to 36 pixels, then make sure it's 36 pixels square, then toss it into ships.bm2

meh...too much to bother with, i came up with the solution to just place the actual image size of the ship in alt region

if you want a guide, I did a couple skins like that

Alt + Prt scr is the same as just Prt scr (which takes a screenshot from the whole screen), but Alt + Prt scr only takes a screenshot from the active window.
