Does anybody know how to use 3D Studio Max? I downloaded some models and I want to learn how to turn them into ships.

if you can get a copy of Bryce, there is a template available (check misc apps forum) that will generate the rotations for you

... and bryce can spit out a bunch of .bmp images when you animate it which you can combine together to make Continuum compatable ship and roll graphics using EZ Image Combiner.
