Its been fun guys, but I feel it is time to go. SubSpace has eaten up a lot of my life. Time has come short, and I feel it is nescary to quit SubSpace Continuum. I feel as though God is calling me to help, and although I am not sure what it is, I feel i will know soon. I can feel the end times are near, already we have hand sensors used for people to get food. Therefore, I feel it is nescary for me to witness to those around me. Subspace life has been fun, you have been fun. Although I am leaving, I feel that you, and the zone, should not suffer, therefore, I am leaving Ghost Recon online, with a new owner. This zone is trully your zone, and I ask that you watch over it.

Purge+ has accepted my offer to own SSDT Ghost Recon. I gave him forms, that he accepted and agrees too. This is what he agrees too.

Ghost Recon (owner/co-owner/sysop) Agreement Terms

In order to be the (owner/co-owner/sysop) of this zone you must agree to these terms. Failure to do so may result in loss of (sysop/owner/co owner)-ship and may also result in legal action, such as being taken to court.

-Agreements-
1.You agree that you will not use any of the zones files without prior consent of The Comet or Confess+ for personal use, or use not related to Ghost Recon. If files are distributed or given to people without prior knowledge and approval legal action may be taken, or you may be removed from (owner/co-owner/sysop)-ship. The person who received the files, if used by the person, may also be taken to court without prior consent of either The Comet or Confess+ and approval. If the files are being used in a zone, the files and/or zone may also be taken down.

2. You agree and acknowledge that you will do your very best for the Subspace Continuum zone Ghost Recon and will step aside if you are a poor (owner/co-owner/sysop). You agree to fire any bad staff members (according to your power). If the staff member is higher then you, you will have a staff meeting and votes will be taken, the majority vote will be the winner. (Example: I want to fire Jo Jo Connie, but Jo Jo Connie is a co owner, and I am a sysop. We will have a staff meeting with all staff members, and the staff members, including you, will vote to keep the staff member or not.) You also agree that you will improve the zone, and keep it populated. You agree that you will step aside if you cannot fulfill your duties.
Failure to do so may result in legal action or removal from (owner/co-owner/sysop) or you may be taken to court.

3.You agree that if you want to higher a new (owner/co-owner/sysop) you will have a staff meeting, and the staff will vote on adding this person to (owner/co-owner/sysop). Failure to do so may result in legal action or removal from (owner/co-owner/sysop) or you may be taken to court.

4.You agree to appoint a new owner, keeping in mind rule 3, if you feel the need to leave or cannot comply with rule 2. Failure to do so may result in legal action or removal from (owner/co-owner/sysop) or you may be taken to court.

5.You agree to have a Zone Meeting, which all players are allowed to come to, every month. Important and new decisions are to be brought up there. News is also to be brought up then. If a staff member cannot make it, he must tell One of the head staff members, such as the owner, head smod, head mod, or co owner. If he does not make it, he is to be given a warning. If he does not make it 3 times without a logical reason, he is to be fired. Failure to do so may result in legal action or removal from (owner/co-owner/sysop) or you may be taken to court.

6.You agree to have a Zone Meeting if any major changes are to be taken, such as giving the zone a new look. This is to be brought up on the monthly Zone Meeting, unless it is urgent. Failure to do so may result in legal action or removal from (owner/co-owner/sysop) or you may be taken to court.

7.The Owner is allowed to change the rules of this agreement, but he must bring it up in the monthly Zone Meeting, and players and staff are to vote. The majority of votes will be the winner. The things edited must be wrote on a separate writing thing, and is to be called "The Amendments of Ghost Recon's (owner/co-owner/sysop) Agreement Terms"

8.I, Confess+, Chris Duarte, am allowed to make any changes without zone meetings to this document, or any kind of approval from anyone, without notice.

9. You will not merge Ghost Recon with any zone. Although zones are allowed to come into Ghost Recon, you are not allowed to close or put Ghost Recon files into other zones. Failure to do so may result in legal action or removal from (owner/co-owner/sysop) or you may be taken to court.

10. You agree that you will not close Ghost Recon. If the host closes the zone, you agree that you will immediately find a new host. Failure to do so may result in legal action or removal from (owner/co-owner/sysop) or you may be taken to court.

11. You agree that if you want to change the name, you will have a zone meeting and will vote. The majority vote will be the decision (Example: If you want to change the name to Jackson Vile County, you will have a Zone meeting of which any player of Ghost Recon is allowed to come to, and they will vote. If 30 people vote for Yes, but 20 vote for no, the zone will be renamed Jackson Vile County). This agreement does not count for new host name, such as changing host, and the host wants you to call it SSKC Ghost Recon, but it is currently SSDT Ghost Recon. Failure to do so may result in legal action or removal from (owner/co-owner/sysop) or you may be taken to court.

12. If the zone name is changed, this contract is still valid for the new zone name, just because you change the zone name does not make this contract void.

If you are appointed (owner/co-owner/sysop) and accept, you automatically agree with all of these terms and will do as said in this document.

If he or the person he appoints as owner does not agree to these terms, I ask that you inform me, and help me. I ask that you, the public, remove him from owner. I ask that you watch over the zone, and help with it, and populate it. Please, do not let Ghost Recon die.

Some may feel that this zone is worthless, some may feel this zone will not get population, some may feel this is a waiste of his time, but i assure you, it is not. Please help him, please, as a last request of me.

If you do this, then i will give something in return. If purge+ thinks that you are a true help, he may hire you, or even let you use some of the zones files.

As for my other zones, Dark Wisdom, Jbond Hockey, etc, you may use the files from them in your zones, if you have them, and, if someone has them, you may put them in subspacedownloads.com But this does not include Ghost Recon files.

I talked it over with Confess+, and we agreed.

Truly, the only reason the population went down was because I could not do my best at populating it. Now, some of you may be aware, Ghost Recon has been mighty populated before. When we were on SSH(Killers Server) we got 20-30 daily. Then we moved to NTC without anyone knowing it....And we pretty much died. Then, there was a fight between AcidDragon and I, and we split the zone, my files from BattleField when to me, and his files from Ghost Recon went to him. I took the name Ghost Recon, started the zone back up (really all of the files were mine, all that was his was the map, which was stolen) Ghost Recon then started coming back up. The max we've had since then would probelly be around 15-20. The first time we were on SSDT is when this was, then, in order to decrease lag, we moved to SSN, our population then went down drastically, we managed to bring it back up, i think the max was 15. Then we kinda dwindled down to 5-10. Then SSN Closed, i took a month or twos vacation, brought Ghost Recon back up on SSDT, left again, population was gone, then gave it to Purge+. Hopefully purge can bring the population back up.

Has your father signed the agreement as well? If not, then you are mistaken. (He could be taken to court, since anybody can be, but "Confess" would handily lose the case.)

Also, even if Purge+ violated the agreement and _was_ an adult when he agreed to it, what damages could he possibly be sued for? All that "Confess" might be able to do is get ownership back. And "ownership" of a SubSpace zone is an imprecisely defined term. For instance, after you get ownership back, the host could immediately shut down the zone. Then Purge+ could create a "brand new zone" that is practically identical.

This is utter nonsense. You might change the document, but that doesn't change the one to which Purge+ agreed. You could not, for instance, add an amendment which says "You agree to send Chris Duarte a payment of $50,000 by the end of 2007," and then be able to sue Purge+ for $50,000 at the beginning of 2008. _Maybe_ you could sue for ownership of the zone back (ignoring all the other problems) but it is much simpler to write something along the lines of "Chris Duarte may reclaim ownership at any time."

This is all besides the point. If you believe these shackles are necessary, then you've picked the wrong guy to replace you.

I was writing this aggreement thing for others to use, along with I.

I added that for the people who use the document. There is lots of things I should have done, perhaps I'll redit the document. Thanks.

And i do trust him, This is just a lil insurence. If you were handing something you truly loved, to a person, wouldnt you want insurence? I simply want the best for the zone.

I don't know why all this flaming is happening, but Ghost Recon shall live.

Here are my plans for the zone:

Dark Nexus and the Ghost Recon dev team are working on a new theme for the zone. The new theme will be basewars and base capture. The object of the game will be to capture the other teams' bases and to declare victory. The zone contents (GFX, SFX, etc.) will also, hopefully, be updated.

I am looking for a bright future for this zone and my other zone. So, if you would like to help in development of the zone, please contact me.

If you think that being taken to court is "high-tech" then you are absolutely wrong. Zone owners sometime feel the need to copyright their work legally so other people don't steal it and etc. So, in this case, Confess+ has put a "nice" contract deal for his new owner of GR.

Ok, Ghost Recon has left the SSDT server and has went to a new host, SSN. The bots and all the current GFX and contents of the zone are up and online. If you get a chance, please stop by and tell either Confess+ or I of how you think the zone can be improved. Again, the new theme is being worked on, so the current gameplay type (flagging) will not be used permanently.

Ah, I forgot to say. GR has now merged with SSN War Trials, my other zone. You will see the GR zone in ?go gr there. Also, there may be some GFX and tiles from GR used in War Trials. War Trials might release in a couple weeks depending on school/work and etc.
