Well first off if you wanted to be sysop there is a .ini file in the zone folder that you downloaded. It should be called "sysop" Put your name in there and anyone elses that you want to be sysop. Ok so next off go in the zone and log in as sysop with your new pass that you should have put in the server.ini. Once logged in, press "Esc+c" To bring up the server.cfg. Edit anything you want in there, there is the owner set up as well in there.

Actually a few corrections to Assassin's post:

1. The sysop file is sysop.txt not a .ini called sysop.
2. Did you make your zone yet, with the proper configurations as stated here

Just follow those instructions and also do a search on the forums for zone creation for more details.

Purge corrected Assasin it isn't an INI file it is a .txt.

Also you probably have the arena set to 4 in your server.ini. So if you have your name in Sysop.txt all you have to do is type your password in (*w/e) And then hit esc+C and it will show you your settings.

Did you login as a sysop? What does it say when you type *listmod?

Open up server.ini, look for this:
Quote:
[Password]
SysopPassword=moo
Then just before you do esc + c type '*moo'.

If you also see:
Quote:
[Validation]
CheckSysop=1
Then make sure your name is listed in sysop.txt (make the text file sysop.txt if it doesn't exist).
