I can only get my zone working by making it a custom zone. How can I make it so other people see my zone also?

The costum zone thing just means you are adding it manually.
People should be able to see your zone if they update their zone lists, if you don't see your zone in the zone list after refreshing it your server is setup wrong.
Are the consoles outputting any errors?
Do you mind posting your ini files? There probably are several things you could've done wrong if nobody can see it.
I'll try putting the INI checker back online when I have enough time for it.
That would've helped you much easier.
