Does anyone here know Kiri-Kin-Tha's First law of metaphysics?

Better one, in which you can use google to find your answer:

Suppose that real objects acted like subatomic particals (ie: quantinum physics). Now, you have a manufacturing plant, in which you package toys for Mattel. On your input conveyor belt, you have a random assortment of Barbie dolls and Kens. Half the toys, no matter the type, come with a white shirt, while the other half come with a black shirt.

At the first juntion, you have a machine in which will split the inputted dolls into a Ken conveyor belt and a Barbie conveyor belt. At the end of these lines, you package the dolls and ship them out. The stores are happy that the Kens are in the Ken boxes, and the Barbies are in the Barbie boxes, but would like the different Kens and Barbies to be packaged with a label saying if they have a white or a black shirt to make them easier to organize them on the shelves. So, on the Ken line, you add a machine in which it will split the Kens onto a black shirt conveyor belt and a white shirt conveyor belt. You also do the same for the Barbies. So now, you have four different conveyor outputs, in which you package dolls into a Ken-White, Ken-Black, Barbie-White, and Barbie-Black boxes.

When you ship out your boxes to the stores, they soon call back and complain about a packaging mistake. What was the mistake?

The toys aren't in the boxes. You can't know where they are too precicely, or they fly out of the boxes. Conversly, if they don't fly out of the boxes, you don't know where they are.

I don't think that was the answer you were looking for, but it does work.

NOTE: I didn't use Google or any other reference. I just pulled this from my memory of 8th grade relativity classes.

No, that wasn't the answer. Its implied that you can contain the dolls within the boxes, as you have been able to do so before. Of course, every so often a couple of boxes will be empty since the doll will tunnel through, but the boxes are pretty much infinite wells for this example.

In answer to MGB's: Once you measure the gender of the doll, you cannot measure the shirt color without possibly changing the gender. So the boxes show up at the stores with the proper shirt color, but 50% of the Kens are now Barbies (and visa versa).

A problem it seems is that Subspace is getting old enough now, that new people aren't making new servers. Thus, the lack of question topics.

This leads to people, who check these forums often to see if they can assist others, to post random, non-SS topics in the Trash Talk forums. They do so, because of the huge decline at SS Forums. This is become evident faster here, since I try not to draw a hard line between what is acceptable and what isn't by having a huge moderating force. In the end, you see the problems in its raw form, instead of being filtered through another person's opinion of whats good and whats bad.

Since Gravitron's departure from these forums, I've tried to keep my moderator actions as open as possible. And I've been splitting many more topics from the Questions forums into here when they become side-tracked with two people bickering.

It can be useful for programming discussion, not sure about the hotspot, unless you are comparing it to SFN.

It's a hotspot as far as i'm concerned because there are several people here that can pretty much solve any problem I could have in a timely manner, and there's regular discussions on various topics

I have an ASSS server written to the point where it's playable (did it over the summer) but I don't have a host who's willing to cost a custom ASSS server for windows.
