I know this is one WRONG board but it also falls under as3 cat.

Can somebody please host like a ASSS Server so me and my team can work on a zone?

SSDT?
CRS?

or any other priv server?

what's wrong with your machine? unlike subgame, ASSS doesn't take up 35% cpu usage on a 1ghz machine so you won't really have that much of a lag problem

As ASSS is more complicated than Subgame, it doesn't have the ability to be easily controlled by new people. You don't just throw up a cfg/lvl and have it work. With ASSS, since you can do so many things, to even have someone else host it for you, you really need to understand how it works.

Not entirely true. Im working on an Easy Asss guide and packaging it with a link to my fixed cfg->conf converter program. Then it should be simpler to use (or explain) and it should end up like merv, seemingly fast and easy.

Actually, I just downloaded a suse image today and I'm going to install it on a machine tomorrow. I'm thinking of migrating (oooh fancy IT term) to an ASSS server, actually, since there are plenty of other crap (err dev) subgame hosts.

Being able to run one doesn't make you a good "ASSSer".

Also, what does FTP have to do with this?

Nice feature of ASSS is you're able to upload a single zip file; and it'll unpack the file onto the server end. W00t. (Right?, LOL)

Do you understand parts of the source?
Do you know how to build it? Have you ever rebuilt it?
