Bot Questions - Day/night Checker. 2000+ - Sun Sep 12, 2004 4:56 am Post subject: Day/night Checker.
I heard of this so I wanted to know if a plugin can be made easily that can turn objects 23 and 24 on from 6:00am to 6:00pm and 26 and 27 on at 6:00Pm to 6:00am but turn the other two off then the other two are running. I know the question of timezones comes up but I don't mind. Thanks for your help!

Obviously, if 2000 is unable to make it online; the bot would switch the modes...

What I meant was at 6:00am the bot would *objoff one .lvz and *objon another. then do the oppsite at 6:00pm. You see that I mean? I don't know how to have the bot check the time, but I would think have it check once an hour? maybe 30 mins? An have it based on server time, I was also thinking about making a "clock where the one is now so it matches the server's timezone... unless there is a way to check each person's time... but that would get too wierd, one person could be playing in night and another in day, so basing on one set time, the server's would be best. If you want to whip one together for me, please, could you contact me on the other details before hand? Thanks in advance!

So when the dll starts youll have to get the system time or however you want to do it and then caculate how many seconds until you want to change the lvz file. The above has all of the time.h information.

I made a quick little plugin that does time rotations for lvz objects, you just set it in the ini. I upgraded to the object packets a while ago, I don't remember if I tested it or not.
