General Questions - Catid Biller

Post subject: Catid Biller
I'm running my zone behinda firewall. I had my zone setup with the basic biller, everything worked fine. I tried to switch to the Catid biller and now the zone is unable to connect to the biller. In the biller window it shows my zone's connection request, but than says invaild login by my zone. I checked under the router config. topic and it says I need to change something in my zone.dat file. The only problem is that I have no zone.dat file in my zone folder. Can someone help me?

The zone.dat file is located in your Continuum directory, go one directory up. sa_tongue.gif

Catid's zone.dat contains the data about registered zones; not the zone.dat of your Continuum zone listing..

In your server.ini, should match what you set the primary biller password located in the INI that came w/ catid's biller: It'd look something like this:
[misc]
BillingPassword=something


This will let your zone join into the biller; after that you need to use the appropriate biller commands (after loging in as a biller op); add a zone id, and give your zone a new biller password, then change it to your server.ini billing section; and then change the subbill.ini (catid's ini)'s password, so other people can't just randomly join onto your biller.

the zone still reports invalid login even after I modified the zone.dat. I also tried it with modifiying the zone.dat, and made sure the pw's matched as cypher recommeneded. Nothing has worked.

All I can say is that if it's saying invalid password; then a zone w/ a password has been created on the biller group id, try a different one. :/

changing group id still hasn't worked.

The exact message I get from the biller is:

Connection request from 127.0.0.1:4243
Invalid login from 127.0.0.1

sorry mate, I haven't loaded/user catid's biller directly enough to be able to be of more help.. :/

the subbill.ini you posted seems to be the subbill.exe ini not catid's biller's exe
