General Questions - Zone Down

Post subject: Zone Down

Hi, currently my zone is down. It's shown green, and people can half way enter, but they cant fully enter, it still shows the number that they've entered, but they cant.

When I try to enter after about 5 seconds, or so, it hasnt connected. I press ESC it shows that one more is in. Also when I attempt to enter, and wait for as long as possible, it asks to go to sshq.com. But I'd rather try here

Anyways, can someone help me? Also earlier, it was working, and I didnt do anything. The only thing was add a duel plugin that controls the door. Other then that nothing.

You may have made one or more mistakes in your subgame INI configuration files.

Well, I tried the checker and it found one error. (And originally there was no subbill.ini (or eve)) And I dont think I deleted the subbill. Anyways, the problem isnt that it's not green or anything, it's green, and it shows that people try to attempt to connect, but players cannot enter the zone.

It's like it's stopping anyone from entering.

It told you that you didn't select a subbill.ini file?
That's an error it gives you before it actually checks the files.

The files you upload get deleted as soon as they were processed, if there was an error before it got to checking the files it doesn't even store the files.
The checker needs both files - server.ini and subbill.ini - to give you a useful result, for now.

When your zone is "green" it doesn't mean it actually works.
What is the server console's output when you try to connect?

I added a subbill.ini and it told me I had 1/10 errors.

How can I find the output?

What was the error the checker showed you?

Damn, then we're not going to find a console.

I think you need some SSI "operator" to help you, I doubt you can restart the subgame from outside the game.

Foo, most file servers don't allow you to control system processes.

Remote access isn't a protocol, FTP can used for remote accessing a system too.

Solo, my brother agrees with me, you got a screw loose if you don't think that just FTP access can't shut down a subgame2.exe, want proof? Just ask DM, she's got a couple years of FTP access/NetOp behind her

I said most file servers, I remember Serv-U allows you to do it, but many others don't.

Umm you need to contact SSI about this because we can't really tell what's on the server screen right now.
Also, if you want to log all commands, just leave the *. That means it logs everything beginning with a '*'.
