General Questions - I can connect, but others cant. Anonymous - Tue Jun 08, 2004 12:36 pm Post subject: I can connect, but others cant.
Okay, I uploaded the zone. Everything is working fine. I am inside working on my settings. I tell my friend to come in, it tells him the zone is still red...wtf? How do I fix that? I have fixed my router, no firewall running, or anything of that sort. What do I do?

Add a custom zone entry with 127.0.0.1 as the IP.
Make sure your IP under the [billing] section in server.ini is "localhost" (no quotes).

OK, those are images that I asked him to post. He's been able to get in using a custom entry, but nobody else can. I can't figure it out at all.

Linksys has limited the NAT to 10 entries only? At least it has port ranges unlike Alcatel.

even though he fixed it imma let everyone know that there are 2 things that can cuase this problem if your router is setup right. 1 firewalls will make it apear red to others unless you set the firewall to ignore the 2 ports, and 2 linksys and some others have a function in the setup called block wan request, if that is enabled then it will show up red to others.
