I'm not suprised about Windows... but IE? What's up with you people?!

I like IE because I can hop between Explorer and Inet; like boom. Mozilla can't access and modify files by just typing c:\ boom... you get file://c/ or w/e which only lets you open files methinks last time i tried it.. so ew..

Anywho, I used to have a commodor64, 5" disks hehe... I think I still have a bananoid 5" around my room somewhere or I threw it out :/ I can't remember now..

Haha, cyhper, so instead you settle for slow and buggy?

Mozilla owns IE any day on any feature.

So you support web integration into an OS shell? I don't. The internet is a tool, not an operating system.

please, they only mixed IE into Windows to scam Netscape out of its spot

I would imagine some browsers claim to be IE so that they can get IE only pages (I've come across a few sites that wouldn't let me in, had to change some string thing).

true, but a phpbb forum and MGB's site are not such places, they're properly coded

Yes, but some users just leave the IE-spoof on. In fact, Opera defaults to look like IE.

your the only lucky person in the world then... my parents had Windows ME and I got sick of them always having me fix the problems with it so I went in while they were gone and put XP on it and haven't had a problem since.

True; but to browse your files, you are still accessing some of IE's calls/functions/dlls/files sa_tongue.gif. So, unless you browse your harddrive not using explorer, then... :/

Yeah. In fact, ever since Windows 95, the GUI DLLs are actually part of IE, not Windows itself. Grrr.

Exactly how do mozilla and firefox crash?

i'll just go browsing around and it'll crash with the dialog "Mozilla has encountered an error and needs to shutdown" and it has send report and crap so i dunno :\

my IE never crashes, if it is then it tells me that IE is crashing and I need to report the error, so i take that window and move it into the bottom corner of the screen and continue browsing.
