most of the Zone's website is close down by govenment claiming that EA has the right to Subspace. So this is sad cuz we going to lose a Free game that we all play

Sounds like a hoax to me, especially since ssforum.net is just that - a forums, free speach anyone?, while sites giving access to downloads remain unaffected.

Also the domain is registered trough a second party, why would a compagny do that?

Regardless, aside from the graphics and sounds, continuum isn't a copyright infringement on subspace, not to mention ASSS which cannot be stopped at all.

But I doubt they have access to people's webspace, I think they would change the nameserver entry, but then it beats me why TW didn't put their webby's IP in the news

trenchwars.org has the same, incidentally they are both on the 69.93.* range, suggesting that they were hosted by the same provider, so it could be a nightmare come true, but I still doubt it since continuum is not their property.

Anyway, don't know if they'd suspend services that important to the community, also it's already rallying angry mobs and stuff, so don't think so.

But then again it does look like a prank, but I guess we'll find out soon enough whether it's time to unleash WW3 on some people ^^

It is a hoax, if you do whois lookup's and whatnot, also there are misspellings on the page, the contact us link is a 404; and if the government took it over, they would have grabbed the domain's DNS entries, anyways yeah.. adios. april fools; but i think it was dumb for the fact that it did hurt the player base...
