how do i get my gamepad to work with continuum

If your gamepad can emulate keystrokes, then you are set. Play around it the gamepad's driver properties and set it up to clone your current buttons.
If your gamepad cannot emulate keystrokes, you are screwed. It only reads keyboard buttons.
