I dld the API from sourceforge but it's in C++ and I want to make a bot in Java. Is there a API for java somewhere?

there is a java source bot out there... but to answer your question, your chances of getting a java module working with a c++ interface will probably not be worth your time. Although this is NOT what you want to hear... c++ and java do not differ THAT terribly much. Just study up and delve in... that's my advice. or get some one to give you the java bot...

I have had a go at a bot in Java but since the UDP classes do not return the correct length of the datagram and I haven't got any encryption it isn't very useful.

It seems to me C++ is a lot easier than Java for networking.
