Just tried this game out for my PC. I'm not one for much first person shooters (FPS) except for Doom (original and 2) and Duke3D, but I've played a bit of Unreal/Quake in my time, even if it is just a bit. So for me to actually review the game play of Halo on PC is pretty bias, so I won't do that.
What I will do is say this: What the fuck, Microsoft? I cannot use the same controls on my PC as I do with someone's XBox? Come on! I have my Controller type S here hooked up to my computer*, and I cannot even setup the controls to be the same? Give me a break. Let me set all those actions to my X button, you stupid game.
* Simple to make an XBox -> PC converter. Cut an XBox controller (or if you are like me, the actual female port from a broken XBox console) and cut a USB cable. Match up the four colors together, ignoring the extra 5th cable (yellow) from the XBox end. Plug it into an unused USB port, and use the XCtrl drivers.

I saw the 8 Minute trailer @ E3 and it was f^ing astounding. I could not believe that graphics could get better! Also, dual machine guns will be a big help, as well as knocking enemies out of vehicles, and rag-doll physics.
