LVZ/LVL Questions - Flyover tile or an LVZ background image?

Post subject: Flyover tile or an LVZ background image?

What is more efficient on bandwidth or fps using a flyover tile on the tileset to fill a large area or using say a 800x800 lvz background image? Or does it matter.. Thanks
