I am a professional java coder as part of my web development job, and I'm interested in developing bots in java, and I know there is a java bot core in Trench. I am one of the lead development people for DeathStarBattle, one of the top zones in subspace, and loops, LLC, bjorn, and pravo the main administrators for the zone can vouch for my professionalism and willingness to not release code or give out zone secrets. If I have to I'll make my own bot core in java, but it seems like reinventing the wheel when one already exists.
Do you think the creator of the core could be persuaded to give the core to loops the sysop of DSB, so that I may work with it?

Doesn't DSB run on the SSI server network? If so, talk to 1stStrike about it.
