Bot Questions - Double Bombs

I haven't seen anything with it.. is there anything a bot can do to make a ship fire 2 bombs at once, like a double barrel on guns

For others (programmers) to know, you cannot have a position packet share the same time id, as that is how the client knows to ignore double-packets. So if someone makes a bot or ASSS plugin to do this, you have to increase the position packet's time by atleast 10 ms, otherwise it will never show.

Lets see... Maybe?... alter your level 3 bullet graphic to appear to be bomb size and give that ship double barrel and replace the gun3.wa2 to a bomb sound of your choice. Not sure if this will work, just a thought.

You would still have level 1 and 2 guns. Set ships that have guns to max out at level 2 and your special ship to start at level 3 and max at level 3 and start with double barrel. Yes, you have to take to "get" in this situation, only way your gonna simulate 2 bombs Im afraid.

After further testing it is possible to simulate 2 bombs, more if you edited multifire.. The attached png is a modified bullets.bm2 to make level 3 bullets appear to be bombs. As stated earlier changing the guns3.wa2 is needed to give it the full effect.

There are other drawbacks, such as the explosion and sound..but with some other editing you could make it blend..just my 2 cents .. cya icon_smile.gif

Lol I would say just give up. (No offence WarFan). Not only does that take a lot of work, but it still won't be like bombs. (No prox, radius, etc). Mightn't as well just use bullets icon_razz.gif

Well, after modifying the bullets, replacing the sound and the explosion ( about 25 minutes ), hey it "looks" like a double bomb that does level 3 bullet damage. You dont have prox or radius but hey SS is limited icon_smile.gif

...it's exactly like bombs except for proximity (and emp of course is not possible without more support) and the number of frames of animation

...and that you can mess with multifire stuff, but I don't see how anyone would see that as a bad thing
