I tried SSME but it screws up... and continuum allows 24-bit right?

no map editors allow for 24-bit by default

Bob Dole.. Bob Dole... Bob Dole...... bob dole.... bob... dole.... made a program that supposedly can attach a 24-bit tileset to a premade map

it's called tileset changer

post again if you can't get your 24-bit map to work, I seem to remember there being some problems with doing such a thing

Yep, there were some probs with certian tilesets...
But it's not my fault, it seems to be tileset specific as FACTS has the same probs with these tilesets.

thanks for replying

ok, here is what i did

- made a test map (A) with 256 color tileset in SSME
- converted the same tileset into 24-bit
- made a new map (B) using Bob Dole.. Bob Dole... Bob Dole...... bob dole.... bob... dole....'s program with the 24-bit tileset

i tried A and it worked perfectly, however when I tried to plugin map B as soon as I opened the game continuum crashed and it popped up with a error saying "File Write Error"

so it looks like continuum can't handle 24 or else the program is converting it wrong

facts screws up on my computer, i duno why... my comps only a year old. anyways, does anyone have the full 256 color map? or know where it is?

it's in every screenshot in your continuum\screenshots folder

if facts asks for some .ocx file, check to see if it's listed in this thread or search for it at google.com (it is online in several places)

yea i am getting a MSFlxGrd.ocx missing, and that thread has it "missing"... so i'm not really having any luck

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/q176/9/37.asp&NoWebContent=1

i found that on microsoft support

looks to me like it's some visual basic compiling error that got corrupted or something because it was made with an old vb or something

...

go to google.com

type in "MSFLXGRD.OCX download"

hit the search button
