Is it possible to use this to display my periodic messages instead of using the part in the cfg file (that I can never get to work correctly)?

I could just edit it to my needs, and then upload it in my lvz, right?

ya...that should work

the only problem is most people have it off - because when they first download the game the msgs annoy the hell out of them

Yeah, because everyone knows how to turn on multifire... "Enough already!" I'll just ask them to turn it on with the greet message. Should work though.

You realise then, if they do turn it on, they'd be pretty annoyed when they enter another zone, so this is just a bad idea. Get a bot, or use the perodic messaging system.

means it would be displayed 7 minutes after the first person enters the arena, and then every 5 minutes after that

add a "*" before text to make it a *zone instead of just *arena msg
