Here you can see my Soccer settings. As you can see AllowGuns is set to 0. But if I have the ball and shot/pass it my guns fire icon_confused.gif .

yes, and at the same time bullets get fired.

Then everything is fine....
If a player wants to hold the ball, he simply doesnt fire...
cuz he will lolse the pb then

No, I think you got me wrong. When i hit pass it passes AND fires but i don't want it to fire on passing.

Maybe increase Soccer:PassDelay or the bullet fire delay.

Insert is actually pass powerball/warp button if you would have read the manual.

and you can always change it to some other key if you don't like insert

One cannot set a key for passing (at least not in my client). I can only tell the client what button to use for firing bullets and it uses the same button for passing. In Hockey Zone this works how I would like it to behave in my zone. When you have the ball and you pass/fire it only passes but doesn't fire. What's their trick? (It also works in private arenas where there is no bot)

I would guess it's the long bulletfiredelay their ships use, but if you can't figure it out, just ask Live-Wire

as for the other - whatever key you have "warp" mapped to (it's INSERT by default), will cause the ball to be passed (with no weapons fired)

I tried it in HZ. Not only 'Warp' but also 'Set Warp' and 'Fire Bullet' make your ship pass.

Fire Bullet only makes your ship pass because AllowGuns=0.

I found the problem. BombFireDelay was set to 0. That doesn't seem to work very well ^^.

I also thought about another solution. If your ships have BulletFireEnergy > 0 (in my zone its 0 so i cant use this solution) and you have Soccer:UseFlagger=1, set Flag:FlaggerFireCostPercent to something huge so that the players never have enough energy to fire as long as they have the ball icon_smile.gif
